Colorcoat coating system is based on well known pharmaceutically accepted polymers, opacifiers, pigments and plasticizers and is optimized to be compatible with any coating equipment. Colorcoat range is available in clear, white and full color range offering all benefits to Pharmaceutical, Nutraceutical and Ayurvedic solid dosage forms. Film Coating
Colorcoat FC4W, FC4S & FC4WS grades are ready to use pre-blended film coating material. Colorcoat film coating series is used in film coating of tablets, pills, pellets, granules and powder by aqueous, solvent and semi aqueous method. It is available in different colors and also as per customer requirement. The film is swellable and permeable at any pH. It gives excellent, glossy and shiny film having good tensile strength.
Enteric Coating
Colorcoat EC4W & EC4S grades are ready to use coating material, which is used in enteric coating of tablets, pills, pellets, granules and powder. It is available in different colors and also as per customer requirement.
Moisture Barrier Coating
Colorcoat MB4W & MB4S grades are ready to use pre-blended coating material, which is used in moisture barrier film coating of tablets, pills, pellets, etc. It is available in different colors and also as per customer requirement. The film is swellable and permeable at any pH.
Seal Coating
Colorcoat SC4W & SC4S grades are ready to use pre-blended coating material, which is used in seal coating of tablets, pills and pellets. It is available in different colors and also as per customer requirement. The film is swellable and permeable at any pH.
Transparent Coating
Colorcoat MB4S(Clear), FC4W(Clear) and FC4S(Clear) grades are ready to use pre-blended coating material, which is used for transparent coating of tablets, pills and pellets. Colorcoat MB4S(Clear) grade is used for transparent moisture barrier coating. The film is swellable and permeable at any pH.
Flavor Coating
Colorcoat FL4W & FL4S grades are ready to use pre-blended coating material comprised of a film forming substances, flavoring agent, sweetening agent etc. Flavor coating is applied on solid oral dosage forms having unpleasant taste, odor etc. Flavor can be added as per customer requirement. The film is swellable and permeable at any pH.
Sweet Coating
Colorcoat SW4W & SW4S grades are ready to use coating material which is used for sweet coating. Sweet coating can be used as a substitute for sugar coating. The film is swellable and permeable at any pH.
Pearlescent Coating
Colorcoat Pearl film coating systems can be applied either directly to a substrate or after the substrate has been coated with a subcoat to give pearlescent effect. Colorcoat pearl is comprised of pearlescent pigment. The film is swellable and permeable at any pH.
Gloss Coating
Colorcoat glow is a milky white 30% aqueous dispersion, which can be used with solvent as well as an aqueous system. It gives shiny, glossy and elegant appearance to the uncoated and coated tablets. It also improves flow of coated tablet thus helps in packaging of tablets.

Pigments used in Colorcoat
Natural colors: These colors are synthetically prepared from organic and inorganic compounds, which are derived from animal, vegetable and mineral sources. These colors are less stable toward light and heat.
FD & C Lakes: Lakes are color additives produced by the absorption or precipitation of water soluble dye onto a hydrated base or substrate rendering the color insoluble in water. Lakes are more stable than the corresponding water soluble dyes.
Oxides: Iron oxides are produced from ferrous sulfate with the most common forms being that of yellow, red and black. Oxides are stable pigments.

Toxicity
Colorcoat range is a high molecular weight polymer so it can not be absorbed by body tissue and it is safe for human consumption. It has no physiological action at recommended dosage and is non toxic.
Storage
Store it at low temperature not exceeding 45°C. Protect from moisture.
Self Life
Two years from manufacturing date in intact condition.
